REGISTER TO BID
Registering to participate in an online auction at Auction House of Connecticut is an easy two step process. This insures the highest level of online security for both the buyer and the seller.
1. You must first open up an account at eDeposit: 
All bidders are required to open an eDeposit account prior to bidding. When a bidder is ready to submit a bid on a particular property the bidder will be requested to transfer funds from their eDeposit account to the Auction House of Connecticut eDeposit account equal to the deposit amount required for that particular property. If you are the winning bidder, the deposit will be applied toward your purchase. Unsuccessful bidders will receive a full return of their deposit once requested. If you are the successful bidder and do not complete the transaction, the deposit will be forfeited and no amount will be returned.
2. After opening an eDeposit account, please fill out the form below to obtain your ID number and password. You will need your eDeposit account number to register. Registration is free. You will be sent an ID number and password via e-mail shortly after successfully sending the form below and we verify that your deposit has been made. Write them down or print out a copy of the e-mail. You will need them to place a bid in auctions you wish to participate in.
HOW TO BID
To bid on a property, go to the bidding page for the property that you wish to bid on, view the term and conditions, enter your ID, password, bid amount and submit your bid.
An automatic bidding feature allows you to place a maximum bid and it will automatically adjust your bid to the winning bid amount in the stated bidding increment up to your maximum bid when you have been outbid by another bidder. The amount of your maximum bid is private from all other participants in the auction.
The winner and runner-up will be notified via e-mail at the close of an auction.
You will be offered the following options:
1. Participate in the live auction in person or via the phone.
2. Any automatic bid that you placed to become an absentee bid at live auction.
3. Your "winning" bid represented at the live auction without bidding higher.
